Simple Kitchen Renovation, Bathroom Update and Flooring
We updated the kitchen cabinets and countertops, relocated the island creating a space that can be used as a snack counter by adding a couple of chairs or stools.
In the bathroom we rearranged the layout, relocated the bathtub under the skylight and custom built a small closet for towels and other toiletries. We recommend buying a good toilet – recent appliances are quiet and use less water. In general, dual-flush models are a good option.
Our client was able to visit our supplier and chose her ceramic for the floor, bathtub walls and the kitchen back-splash.
It’s a good idea to spend on door hardware, light fixtures, and faucets. Items that get used daily need to be not only good-looking but durable.
The floors were sanded and varnished throughout the dwelling. Refinishing to remove ground-in dirt while sanding out dents and dings can revive this highly visible portion of your interior decor.
